We took a 1964 841 powermaster in on trade. this unit has the sherman dual drive transmission. The engine would not turn over however, the engine was not damaged. The starter had broken and lodged in the flywheel locking the motor
We also found that the fuel tank required replacing. We fabricated a new copper fuel line to replace a rubber one and replaced the gauges
Initial repair consisted of a new starter and a lot of wiring with a good cleaning
After running the tractor it was evident that it did not have the power range it was designed to have so we rebuilt the carburator and replaced the govenor
Now that it runs and operates the way that it should, the next step will be sanding and paint.
